On A Mission To Reduce Plastic Use

Welcome to our eco-friendly camp, a sanctuary where wildlife, people, and nature coexist in harmony. In this protected landscape, every decision we make has a lasting impact. That is why we made a bold commitment: to completely phase out single-use plastics and transform how we operate.

The global plastics crisis has reached alarming levels. Every year, millions of tons of plastic waste are produced, and a large portion ends up in rivers, oceans, forests, and wildlife habitats. Plastics do not disappear; they break into microplastics that can last for hundreds of years.

Plastics threaten wildlife, contaminate soil and water, and are even entering the human food chain. Animals mistake plastic for food, leading to injury, starvation, and death. Burning plastic releases toxic fumes that harm both people and the environment. Even the smallest items a straw, a bottle cap, a wrapper can cause irreversible damage in fragile ecosystems like ours.

In an environment as sensitive as this, plastic pollution can disrupt natural processes, poison water sources, and destroy landscapes that take decades to restore. By removing single-use plastics, we protect biodiversity, reduce waste pollution, and help slow the long-term effects of climate change. Every refill, every reusable item, and every sustainable choice supports the health of our ecosystem.

To eliminate plastic water bottles, we introduced refillable aluminum bottles in all guest tents, alongside glass water jars in the dining areas. Guests simply refill throughout their stay. This small shift prevents thousands of plastic bottles from entering the environment each year.

In place of disposable plastic bathroom bottles, we now use aluminum refillable containers for shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. These bottles are washed, sanitized, refilled, and reused reducing waste while maintaining high hygiene standards.

Eliminating single-use plastics is not just environmentally responsible it is economically smart. Instead of constantly buying disposable bottles and packaging, we invest once in durable, long-lasting refillable containers. Operating costs reduce over time, waste management becomes easier, and the camp saves money while protecting nature.

Plastic waste is expensive to manage. Collection, transportation, sorting, and disposal place a heavy financial burden on eco-tourism facilities. By reducing plastic at the source, we lower waste volumes, cut disposal costs, and reduce the environmental footprint of our operations
